In 1762 William Williams was named in the will of his father-in-law Matthew Bennetts of Camborne as husband of Matthew's daughter Elizabeth.

Abstract of the Will of William Williams of the Parish of Camborne in the County of Cornwall, Yeoman, written 7 Sep 1776, proved 9 Nov 1776. 4

Gives £50 to his daughter Jane the wife of George Lemon.

Gives one shilling to his daughter Elizabeth the wife of Benjamin Glanville.

Gives to his brother Samuel Williams and friends Martin Stephens and Matthew Bennetts of Camborne, in trust, the sum of £30 for the use of the children of his said daughter Elizabeth, to be equally divided between them.

Gives one shilling to his daughter Catharine the wife of Benjamin Grible.

Gives to his said trustees the sum of £100 for the use of the children of his daughter Catharine, to be equally divided between them.

Gives to his trustees the sum of £100 for each of his daughters Clarinda and Phillipa Williams.

Gives £5 to his servant Eleanor Bennetts.

All the rest of his goods and chattels he gives to his said trustees, appointing them co-executors in trust of his will and directing that they pay to his son William Williams an annuity of £40 until he turns twenty-seven, at which time he will inherit the residue of his father's estate.
