The Will of Elizabeth White of the Parish of Gwithian in the County of Cornwall, Widow, written 4 Apr 1679, proved: 28 Apr 1679. 2

In the Name of God Amen I Elizabeth White of the p'ish of Gwithian In the County of Cornewall widdow being Sicke and weke in body but of Sound and disposing minde and memory praysed bee God for it I doe hereby make and ordaine this my Last Will and Testament In maner and forme followeing

Imprimis I committ my Soule to the Allmighty God my maker and Redeemer hop[ing] through the merritoryeous death and passion of our only Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ to Receive full pardon and Remission for all my Sinns . and as for my worldly Goods wch it hath pleased God to blesse me wth I doe give and bequeath as followeth .

Item I give and bequeath unto Ann the wife of Thomas Harris of Camborne the Somm of Tenn pounds which is due to me from the said Thomas Harris on bond .

Item I give and bequeath unto Thomas Harris wife aforesaid the Summ of th[ree?] pounds of Lawfull English money which was due to me from the said Thomas Harris for Rent at Michaelmas 1678.

Item I give and bequeath unto Thomas Harris his wife aforesaid the halfe yeere rent which was due to me at Ladiday 1679 from Thomas Harris aforesaid ,

Item I give and bequeath unto my Sonn in Law Thomas Harris aforesaid the Summ of Six pounds which is due to me on bond from Richard Cock of the p'ish of Camborne aforesaid wch he after my decesse shall have the bond for the recoverey of the sd Legacy?

Item I give and bequeath unto my Twelve Grandchildren that is to say Six Children of my daughter Ann Harris and Six Children of my daughter Jane Cock the Summ of two Shillings and Sixpence a peece , to bee paid by my Executrix within one yeere next after my decesse.

Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth the Daughter of Benett Wills of the p'ish of Gwithian aforesaid one heifer of two yeeres old which is in the custody of my Sonn in Law Bennett Cock and twenty Shillings in money to be paid by my Executrix within one yeere after my decesse

Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter in Law Grace the wife of Henery Elles of the p'ish of Gwithian aforesaid the Summe of five Shillings ,

Item I give and bequeath unto Jane the wife of John Michell the Summ of five Shillings ,

Item I give and bequeath unto Richard the Sonn of Benett Wills of the p'ish of Gwithian aforesaid the Summ of five Shillings ,

Item I give and bequeath unto John the Sonn of Benett Wills of Gwithian aforesaid the Summ of five Shillings ,

Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Allen the Summ of one Shilling ,

Item I give and bequeath unto Benett Wills of Crane in the p'ish of Gwithian aforesaid one white coverled ,

Item All the rest of my goods and Chattles moveable and unmoveable of what nature or kinde Soever , bills Bonds or what soever I dye possest off , not formerly given or bequeathed , I doe here by give and bequeath unto my Daughter Jane the wife of Benett Cock aforesaid whome I doe hereby make constitute and appoynt my whole and Sole Executrix of this my Last will and Testament and to see my Legacyes paid according to the true Intent and meninge of this my Last will and Testament . In wittnesse whereof I have here unto Sett my hand and Seale the day and yeere first above written ,
