Comte [de Hainaut]. [Comte de la marche de Valenciennes]. The Gesta Episcoporum Cameracensium records that Foubert Bishop of Cambrai purported to dissolve the marriage between "filiam Isaac" and "Amulricum comitem…ex pago Heinou" on grounds of consanguinity, dated to [953/56] because the preceding passage in the same source discusses the Hungarian invasion in 953 and because Bishop Foubert died in 956. Emperor Otto I donated property to the monastery at Crespin, at the request of "Richizonis atque Amelrici comitum", by charter dated 12 Feb 973.... 2
Marriage Information:
Amaury married Judith de Cambrai, daughter of Isaac, comte de Cambrai et Valenciennes and Berthe de Flandre (Cambrai), in 952. (Judith de Cambrai was born est 920 in Cambrai, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France and died in 983.)
