A VERY pretty wedding was celebrated in the Methodist Church, Mudgee, on Boxing Day, by the Rev. R. F. Gibson, when Roy Edwin Woolley, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. H. O. Woolley, of Burrundulla, was united in the bonds of matrimony, to Mary Jean ("Mollie") Swords, younger daughter or Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Swords of Mudgee. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, was attired In white figured organdi, made in bouffant style with kilted trimmings, hat of the same material and banded with blue velvet. She was attended by Miss Marjorie Wright, who wore a powder blue sheer frock with chic hat to tone. Mr. Jack Sawyer, acted as best man. The church had been beautifully decorated for the oocasion by Sister Pascoe. The bride carried a lovely bouquet of white gladioli and delphiniums and the bridesmaid's bouquet was of pink gladioli. The reception was held at the Town Hall, where some forty guests were welcomed by the bride's mother, attired in navy sheer, with white trimmings and navy accessories, assisted by the bridegroom's mother, who had chosen a grey and blue ensemble with grey accessories. The handsome wedding cake was made by Mrs. W. Stoddart and decorated by her daughter, Miss M. Stoddart. At the conclusion of the breakfast the happy couple left on a motor tour of the State. Their future home will be at Burrundulla." 8
