She succeeded her mother in 1350 as Ctss de Soissons and Dame de Chimay.

She died of the plague.

Jeanne married Louis DE CHÂTILLON Comte de Blois et de Dunois, seigneur d’Avesnes, son of Guy I DE CHÂTILLON Chevalier, comte de Blois, Dunois.. and Marguerite DE VALOIS, in Nov 1336. (Louis DE CHÂTILLON Comte de Blois et de Dunois, seigneur d’Avesnes was born after 1309 and died on 26 Aug 1346 in Battle of Crécy, Normandy, France.)

Jeanne also married Guillaume "Le Riche" DE NAMUR Seigneur de Wynendaele, son of Jean DE FLANDRE Count of Namur and Marie D' ARTOIS Dame de Mérode, before 13 Feb 1348. (Guillaume "Le Riche" DE NAMUR Seigneur de Wynendaele was born in 1324, died on 1 Oct 1391 and was buried in Couvent des Franciscains, Namur.)
