"Alexander McDonald, only son of . Mr. W. McDonald, a well known contractor, of Rockhampton, when riding a motor bicycle, collided with a young man named Hudson, who was riding a bicycle, at the intersection of two streets, at noon yesterday. McDonald was thrown over the handles, and died in the afternoon from concussion, followed by depression on the brain. The skull was not fractured. Hudson was only slightly injured, The bicycle was badly damaged." 3
