Matric. Michs. 1885; B.A. 1889; M.A. 1893. As sistant Master at the Philberds, Maidenhead, Berks., 1890-2; at Sea Bank, Alnmouth, 1893; at Farnborough School, Hants., 1894-8. Head Master of Hornbrook House School, Chislehurst, 1899-1902. In business in the office of William Willett (of 'Day light Saving' fame), Sloane Square, 1902-3. English Master at Westminster School, Simsbury, Conn., U.S.A., 1904-10. Returned to England during the Great War, 1914-19 and resided subsequently at Nunton, near Salisbury. Died May 2, 1935, at Torqua y; buried at Warminster.
