"Charles Victor Moyle, a resident of Monterey for the past 25 years, died this morning at his home, 322 Hannon St., following an extended illness. He was a native of England, where he was born March 24, 1894. Mr. Moyle was a veteran of World War I, in which he served with the ANZACS of Australia. Prior to his retirement, he was a plasterer by occupation. Surviving are: his wife, Fanny Moyle of Monterey; and three stepsons, Earl D. Rose of Texas, Jack W. Rose of Paris, France, and Alex Eddy of Monterey." 4
