In 1851 Catherine Moyle, aged 43, born in Gwinear Cornwall, and husband John Moyle, aged 45, born in Camborne Cornwall, copper miner, were living in Goss St., Camborne, Cornwall. With them were children (born in Camborne): Rosevena (21), copper ore dresser, Elizabeth (19), agricultural? labourer, Thomas (14), tin ore dresser, John (12), copper ore dresser, Julia (9), James (7), and Alfred (4).
In 1861 the family was residing in Trelowarren Street Camborne, at which time Catherine is incorrectly recorded as "Rosina" (being her eldest daughter's name).

Catherine married John Moyle, son of Cpt. Thomas Moyle of Huel Gerry and Alice Rodda, on 31 Aug 1828 in Camborne, Cornwall 1. (John Moyle was christened on 2 Mar 1806 in Camborne, Cornwall 3 and died on 22 Apr 1862 at Redruth Workhouse, Redruth, Cornwall, aged 56 years.)
