In the 1939 Register Ida Jelbert (b. 22 Sep 1887), unpaid domestic duties, and husband Richard Howard Jelbert (b. 3 Jul 1886), shopkeeper, gents' outfitter (own account), were living at 19 Alvern Dolcoath Road, Camborne, Cornwall. At the same address were (children) Reginald C Jelbert (b. 16 May 1913), master carpenter, Harold P Jelbert (b. 18 Feb 1917), fitter & turner mining machinery, and Marjorie L Jelbert (b. 12 Jul 1923), apprentice ladies' hairdresser.
In January 1962 Ida Jelbert, widow, was granted Probate of her late husband's personal effects.
