Abstract of the Will of Ellis Evans of Pwlheli in the County of Carnarvon, Gent., written 2 Jun 1722, inventory taken 27 Sep 1722, proved 12 Oct 1722.

Refers to an Indenture tripartite dated 1 Apr 1696 between himself Ellis Evans and Jonet his late wife of the first part, Richard Glynne of Elernion in county Carnarvon, Gent. & Robert Evans of Llanbeder in county Merioneth, Gent. of the second part, and Jane verch John Edward* of Llanbeder aforesaid, widow of the third part, in which he has a power reserved to charge all and any part of his messuages, tenements & lands named in the Indenture to a value not exceeding £100 (so the same do not impeach the dower or third of Jane Glynne his mother), out of which an annuity of £5 he devises and bequeaths to his wife Margaret Madrin.

Gives & bequeaths £5 to his son Evan Ellis.

Gives & bequeaths 5 shillings to his daughter Mary Ellis.

All the rest & residue of his goods, chattels & personal estate he gives & bequeaths to his wife Margaret Madrin, whom he nominates & appoints the sole Executrix of his last will and testament.
