In 1841 Evan William, aged about 50, farmer, and wife Mary, aged about 45, were living in Llwyncrwn Trawsfynydd. Present were children: Elizabeth (15), Griffith (14), Elleanor (12), Margaret (10), Anne (7)

In 1851 Evan Williams (61) of Llanenddwyn, farmer of 323 acres employing 3 labourers, married, was living in Llwyncrwn Trawsfynydd. Present were children (born in Trawsfynydd): Griffith (25), Margt. (20), Anne (17), grandson Robert Pugh (5m) of Trawsfynydd.*

* illegitimate son of daughter Margaret Williams of Llwyncrwn and Robert Pugh, farmer, of Bronfoch, christened 17 Feb 1851 in Trawsfynydd.
