Jane's husband John Hugh of Tythyn-y-sais Trawsfynydd and their daughter Lowry were named in the Will Jane's father William Evan of Maês y garnedd (1823)
In 1841 Jane Hugh, aged about 50, and husband John Hugh, aged about 70, farmer, were living in TyddynSais, Trawsfynydd. Present were children: Jane (20), Sarah (15), Hugh (14)
In 1851 Jane Hughes (63) of Llanbedr and husband John Hughes (79) of Trawsfynydd, farmer of 102 acres, were living in Tyddyn sais, Trawsfynydd. Present were daughter Sarah (28) of Trawsfynydd, unmarried, grandson John Pugh (4) of Trawsfynydd, husband's sisters (both unmarried paupers) Gwen Hughes (84) and Jane Hughes (82).
