Abstract of the Will of George Wytham of St. Andrew Holborn, Esquire, written 29 Sep 1670, proved 2 Jul 1672. 14
Declares that all his children (that is to say) his son Henrie Witham, his late daughter Boothby deceased who was married to Walter Boothby Esquire now also deceased, and his late daughter Elizabeth Bland deceased married to Thomas Bland Esquire have been advanced by him in his late time with long and competent portions of his personal estate. Therefore his son Henry Wytham nor the children of his said late daughter Katherine Boothby deceased ought to have or claim any customary part therein after his decease nor shall they have any further share or portion of his estate than what is given and bequested in his will.
Whereas his son Henrie Wytham and his wife have behaved very undutifully toward him ... if the said Henrie Wytham and his wife shall without further suit or trouble within six weeks next after his decease deliver up to his executrix hereinafter named all deeds, conveyances, assurances and securities for moneys which they have gained from him to be cancelled and made void so that his executrix may receive and benefit from the profits of his lands, tenements & hereditaments during her natural life, then he direct his executrix hereinafter named to pay to his son Henrie Witham an annuity of £25 during his natural life at the rate of 10 shillings a week. However, if his said son Henrie Wytham does not do as requested, then the annuity of £25 will be rendered void and instead he will receive only 5 shillings as his full portion.
All the rest of his estate real and personal he gives, devises and bequeaths to his wife Elizabeth Wytham, appointing her sole executrix of his last will and testament.
