Predslava Svyatopolkovna RURIK, Princess of Kiev
- Born: Polostsk, Byelorussia
- Married: 21 Aug 1104
- Died: After 1116
Research Notes:
The Primary Chronicle names Predslava, daughter of Sviatopolk, when recording that she was taken to Hungary 21 Aug 1104 to marry the king's son. Baumgarten names her husband as Álmos but only cites one secondary source in support. 1
Marriage Information:
Predslava married Álmos ÁRPÁD, Duke of Croatia, Prince of Hungary, son of Géza I ÁRPÁD, King of Hungary, and Unnamed SYNADENE of Byzantium, on 21 Aug 1104. (Álmos ÁRPÁD was born in Esztergom, Komarom-Esztergom, Hungary and died on 1 Sep 1129 in Domos, Greece.) |
