  Research Notes:

[Duke of Gascony.] Einhard's Annales name "Berengario Tolosæ et Warino Arverni comite" as fighting "Lupus Centulli Wasco" in 819 and "in quo et fratrem Garsandum…interitum fuit". The Vita Hludowici Imperatoris records the rebellion of "Wasco, Lupus Centulli cognomento" and fighting "Werinum Arvernorum comitem et Berengarium Tholosanum". The Gesta Francorum names "Lupus Wasco" when recording that he was "de perfidia convictus" and sent into exile in 819. 2
