Abstract of the Will of Henry Millard of Wootton Bassett in the County of Wilts, written 2 Jan 1837, proved 6 Aug 1839. 4
Gives & bequeaths to his son Robert alias Henry Meadam Millard a thirty-hour clock in oak case, an oak coffer, a fruit dish, and all his deeds and writings.
Gives to his daughter Ann Hicks the deal box that contains a new hat, an oak stool and a flockbed with bolster and pillows.
Gives to his daughter Alice Norris the rest of his household goods.
Gives to his grandson Charles Norris all his wearing apparel and the box containing them, and a new hat.
Gives to his son Robert alias Henry Meadam Millard and his heirs his house or tenement along with the right and title of the jointure settlement made between the testator and his wife Ann Millard formerly Ann Meadam, in which both he and his wife sold their life interest to Thomas Taylor Sr., now deceased, of Bernons Lane, subject to his son paying to the said Alice Norris and Ann Hicks an equal share of the property.
Appoints his son Robert alias Henry Meadam Millard executor of his will and trustee for Alice Norris and Ann Hicks, to sell the house and pay them two shillings per week until their full shares have been paid.
