Abstract of the Will of Edward Unstead of Heathfield in the County of Sussex, Wheelwright, written 17 Jun 1825, proved 19 Feb 1834. 5
Wills that his body be buried in the Heathfield parish churchyard.
Gives & bequeaths to his wife Ann the residue of his estate for her use and enjoyment during the term of her natural life. After her death he wills the same to the children of his wife and to his own children, namely Elizabeth wife of Jonathan Baker near Bognor, Abigail wife of Thomas Ellis of Heathfield, William Apps of Mayfield, wheelwright, James Cane of Burwash (late husband of his deceased daughter Ruth) and Elizabeth his daughter (widow of James West late of Brighton, blacksmith).
Appoints Mr. James Ashdown, farmer, Mr. James Haffenden, farmer (son of Richard Haffenden), and Mr. William Dray, sadler, all of Heathfield, to be co-executors of his last will and testament.
