In 1575 Robert was bequeathed 40 shillings in his father's Will. His father also made a bequest to Robert's daughter Alice, then a minor. Alice was buried in Heathfield All Saints on 3 Jul 1587, shortly before her brother Richard on 14 July, her father on the 27th, and her sister Susan on 1 August. Richard and Susan were mostly likely born after 1575.
Administration of the personal effects of Robert Taylor of Heathfield, deceased, was granted 19 Aug 1587 to his widow & relict Alice Taylor. Robert's effects were valued at £12 14s. 10d. 1
In 1626 Robert Tayler was named in the Will of his brother Thomas Taylor of Battle as father of Raynald Taylor, Mary Knight and Elizabeth Bryant, to whom Thomas made bequests.
