At the time of the 1861 England Census Uriah Banfield, aged 26, born in Plaxtol Kent, blacksmith, and wife Elizabeth, aged 21, born in Tudely Kent, were living at 20 St. Margaret's Street, Tunbridge Wells Rd., Tonbridge. With them was [Elizabeth's son] Arthur (1) of Tonbridge.
