In 1845 Stephen Lampard Bristed was a beneficiary of the Will of his great-aunt Elizabeth Clayton of Maidstone, single woman, receiving £50 as well as one of her feather beds, a bolster and pillow, together with 6 silver teaspoons, a pair of silver sugar tongs, and 4 silver spoons.

In 1846 Stephen Lampard Bristed was named as a beneficiary in his father's Will.
