Gave 5 shillings to his godchildren Abraham Treepe, William Virall, Marie Comber, Abraham Greene, Abraham Nicholas and . . . . . . . .
10 sheep he willed to be divided equally between Tomasin Paine, Marie Paine, Mercie Terrie, and Edmond Anstie.
Willed that the £30 he holds on behalf of Mercie Terrie should be paid by his executor to her when she reaches the age of twenty-one years.
Gave 20 shillings to the poor of the parish of Ardingly, 10 shillings to the poor of Cuckfield, 10 shillings to the poor of West Hoathly, 10 shillings to the poor of Lindfield, and 10 shillings to the poor of Wherne (?)
Willed that the provision of victuals which he had provided for himself should be given to the poor of Ardingly.
He gave 20 shillings a year to his sister Marie Payne wife of Richard Payne of Fletching, for the term of her natural life.
All the rest of his goods he gave to his son William Nicholas whom he made his sole executor.
He made Thomas Holver of Balcombe and Roger Comber of Ardingly his overseers.

He gave to John Tuckney of Ardingly his part of two acres of wheat which they had sown together.
