Abstract of the Will of Griffith Roberts of Dinam in the County of Merioneth, Esquire, written 20 Apr 1759, proved 13 Jun 1759. 5

Gives and bequeaths to his eldest son John Roberts his old silver tankard.

Gives and bequeaths to his second son Robert Roberts all his books both in the house and at Blaen-y-Ddol which he left there for his use.

Gives and bequeaths £5 to his third son David Roberts to buy him a suit of mourning.

Gives and bequeaths £5 to his eldest daughter Elizabeth Roberts to buy her a suit of mourning.

Desires that, once he has died, his eldest son John Roberts will permit his wife Anne to be his tenant at Dinam.

All the rest and residue of his personal estate he gives to his said wife Anne, she providing for the maintenance of his children Thomas Roberts and Jane Roberts, and after the decease of his wife, he gives & bequeaths the said personal estate to his son Thomas Roberts.

Appoints his wife Anne the sole executrix of his last will and testament.
