In 1398 Henry de Percy, Earl of Northumberland, conveyed to [John le Strange's] widow, Maud le Strange, lady of Knockin, a perpetual lease of the manor of Dalby (in Wainfleet), Lincolnshire. On 4 Jun 1400 Henry de Percy, Earl of Northumberland, was granted a licence to alienate the manor of Foulk Stapleford, Cheshire to Maud le Strange, lady of Knockin, John de Kynaston, and others, their heirs and assigns forever.
Maud died intestate. 1

Maud married John VI le Strange, 6th Baron Strange of Knockyn, son of Sir Roger le Strange, 5th Baron Strange of Knockyn, and Aline de Arundel, Lady of Knokyn, shortly after 17 Jun 1369. (John VI le Strange was born about 1352 in Knockyn, Shropshire, England and died shortly before 23 Jul 1397.)
