The primary source which confirms her marriage has not been identified. She was a slave at Larissa in 986. Cedrenus confirms that "eiusque uxorem" was killed by "Joanne" at the same time as her husband. 1

  Marriage Information:

Irina married Gavriil Radomir KUMET, Tsar of Bulgaria, son of Samuil KUMET, Tsar of the Bulgarians, and Agathe CHRYSELIE of Durazzo, in 988. (Gavriil Radomir KUMET died in Autumn 1015.)
