Adelise
Research Notes:
The Chronicle of Gloucester St Peter records that "Adeliza vicecomitissa mater Walteri de Gloucestria" donated "domos, redditus omnes…in Gloucestria" to the monastery dated 1125. "Adeliz vicecomitissa" donated "quicquid burgagii…in Gloucestria" to Gloucester St Peter, with the consent of "Walterius constabularius filius suus", by undated charter. A charter of King Henry II confirms donations to Gloucester St Peter including the donation of "burgagium…in Gloucestria" donated by "Athelays vicecomitissa…concessu Walteri filii eius". 1
