At the time of the 1911 England Census Arthur Augustus Usher, age 29, born in Brixton (London), domestic chauffeur, and wife of 6 years Elizabeth, age 33, born in Poole Dorset (mother of 2 children), were living at 45 Shibden Head Ambler Thorn Halifax Yorkshire. Present were children Cecil James Arthur Victor (6) of Crowborough Sussex, and Hetty Gladys Irene (3) of Northowram Halifax.
