Her parentage and marriage are confirmed by the charter dated to [1158/74] under which [her brother] "Comes Simon" confirmed to "Willelmo Malduit camerario domini regis et Isabelle uxori sue" the land "in Grendon…" which "comes Simon pater meus dedit Willelmo Malduit et Isabelle uxori sue in libero maritagio". 2

Isabelle married William III Mauduit of Hanslope, Royal Chamberlain, son of William II Mauduit, Royal Chamberlain, and Matilda de Hanslope, Heiress of Hanslope. (William III Mauduit was born in Hanslope, Buckinghamshire, England, died on 2 Oct 1194 and was buried in Waverley Abbey, Surrey, England.)
