In 1861 Sarah Stone, aged 19, born in Ruan Minor Cornwall, was with her parents in Merther, Sithney Cornwall.

According to the 1900 U.S. Federal Census, Sarah's husband, Joseph, went to the USA in 1867.

In 1871 Sarah Keast, aged 26?, born in Ruan Minor Cornwall, married, householder, was living in Church Town, Sithney, Cornwall. With her were daughters (born in Ruan Minor) Emma (7), scholar, and Mary Elizabeth (2).

According to the 1900 U.S. Federal Census, Sarah migrated with her children to the USA in 1874.

In 1880 Sarah Keast, aged 36, born in England, keeping house, and husband Joseph Keast, aged 39, born in England, miner, were living in Calumet, Houghton, Michigan, USA. With them were children Emma (17) of England, Mary E.
