At the time of the 1911 England Census Emily Nancy Barnett Harris, age 25, born in Lewes Sussex (no children), and husband of 2 years Frederic Harris, age 29, born in Tunbridge Wells Kent, carpenter & joiner, were living in Thistleton, 3 Wimbourne Rd., Tottenham Middlesex.

In the 1939 Register Emily N B Harris (b. 13 Jul 1886*), unpaid domestic duties, and husband Frederic Harris (b. 3 Mar 1882), manager - motor services dept., were living at 1 Grafton Chambers Grafton Place, Euston, Camden, St Pancras, London.
