Flórez names "llamada en los antiguos Munia dona" as the wife of King Ordoño I but does not cite the corresponding primary source. The Chronicon Mundi of Lucas Tudensis records that "Ordonius" married "Mumadonam" who was the mother of his five sons... Barrau-Dihigo cites a charter dated May 857 (summary only, in French) under which “Ordoño I roi...d´Espagne fils de Ramire I...et la reine Nuña” confirmed privileges to the church of Oviedo. ¹
