Engeltrude, comtesse d' Orléans
Research Notes:
The wife of Eudes is named by Nithard who records "Hirmentrude, daughter of Odo and Ingiltrud" as the wife of Charles.... The Annales Bertiniani suggest that she was the sister of Adalhard [IV] when they record that "Carlomannus, Hlodowici regis Germaniæ" sought refuge with "Adalardo, Yrmintrudis reginæ avunculo, suo autem propinquo" after he was banished by his father following his rebellion in 861. 1
Marriage Information:
Engeltrude married Eudes (Odo), comte d' Orléans. (Eudes, comte d' Orléans, was born between 770 and 780 in Orléans, Loiret, Orleanais/Centre, France and died in Jun 834 in Battle of Touraine, Loire Valley, France.)
