The Herald's Visitations of Cornwall contradicts itself in regard to Catherine's parents, as do other sources. In the Arundell Pedigree (Arundell of Trerice, p. 12), she is called daughter and heir of John Cosworth and widow of Alan Hill. In the Cosworth Pedigree (Cosworth of Cosworth, p. 104), she is called daughter and heir of Nicholas Cosworth of London (who appears to have been John's brother). The 1568 Visitation of London also show Catherine as the daughter of Nicholas.
Marriage Information:
Catherine married John Arundell, son of John Arundell and Julia(na) Erisey, in May 1562. (John Arundell was born before 1534, died on 15 Sep 1580 in Trerise, Madron, Cornwall and was buried on 6 Oct 1580 in Newlyn, Cornwall.)
