Agnès DE BRIENNE

  • Born: Abt 1186
  • Married: Abt 1211
  • Died: After 1234

Also called Agnès (Alix) DE BRIENNE-RAMERUPT 1

  General Notes:

Compiler's 20 x great-grandmother

  Research Notes:

The primary source which confirms her parentage has not yet been identified. Père Anselme names Agnes as wife of Clarembaud Seigneur de Noyers, which appears impossible from a chronological point of view. “Milo dominus Noeriorum” confirmed the donation to Crisenon abbey made by “Clarembaudus...pater meus”, with the consent of “Agnes uxor mea, Milo filius meus et Elisabeth filia mea”, by charter dated Nov 1224. 2

  Marriage Information:

Alix married Seigneur Milon VII DE NOYERS et Maisey-Le-Duc, Bouteiller de Bourgogne, son of Seigneur Clarembaud DE NOYERS and Ada DE MONTMIRAIL, Dame de Pleurs, about 1211. (Milon VII DE NOYERS was born after 1186 and died before 1234.)
