Present were children (all born in Oldham): Francis Alice (6), scholar, William Edwin (5), scholar, Charles Frederick (2) and Laurance Horace (1 month).
In 1901, wife Alice (47) of Appelby in Lincolnshire, was shown as married and living at 6 Werneth? Hall Rd., Oldham, Lancashire, with children (all born in Oldham): Wm. S.
