Obituary

"Mr. Henry Vivian died on Monday, August 28. at his residence, Cross roads, Moonta, at the age of 62 years following a serious illness extending over 12 months. He was the eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnson Vivian, and was born in Queensland. He was a miner, having worked at Broken Hill, Western Australia, and under the Wallaroo and Moonta Company at Moonta, where he spent most of his life. Mr. Vivian was twice married, his first wife (née Bertha Sanders, of Yelta) having died some years ago, and his second wife, Mrs. Stevens (née Naomi Pryor) survives him. He leaves also three sons, Messrs. Henry Vivian, of Lochiel; Will Vivian and Jack Vivian, of the West Coast. Messrs. Arthur Vivian (Mannum) and William Vivian (Narracoorte) are brothers, and Mrs. Rowe (Seacliff) is a sister." 5
