Susan's age is understated throughout the Censuses....
In 1871 Susan Perry, aged 29, born in Camborne Cornwall, and husband John Perry, aged 28, born in Wendron Cornwall, shoe maker, were in Cockpit, Redruth, Cornwall. With them were children (born in Redruth) Georgiana E. (5), scholar, John (3), Susan J. (2), and Harry (10 months).
In 1881 Susan Perry, aged 40, born in Camborne, and husband John Perry, aged 38, born in Helston Cornwall, shoe trade rounder, were living at The Cottages, No. 9, Wrington, Somerset. Present were children Georgeina (16) of Redruth, shoe machinist, John (14) of Redruth, shoe rounder, Susan (12) of Redruth, scholar, William (10) of Redruth, scholar, Richard (9) of Redruth, scholar, Jessie (7) of Redruth, scholar, Adelaide (5) of Bristol Gloucestershire, scholar, and Ernest P. (2) of Paulton Somerset.
In 1891 Susan Perry, aged 49, born in Camborne, and husband John Perry, aged 48, born in Helston, shoemaker, were at 10 Watson Gardens, Charles, Plymouth, Devon. With them were children William H. (21), shoemaker, Richard J. (19), shoemaker, Jessie (18), Adelaide (16), Earnest (12), scholar, and Emma (10), scholar.
In 1901 Susan Perry, aged 59, born in Camborne, and husband John Perry, aged 58, born in Helston, boot & shoe maker, were at 18 Exeter St., Charles, Plymouth. With them were daughters Jessie (24) and Emma M. (19), shop assistant, dress (shop).
