In 1851 Caroline Crocker, aged 29, born in Illogan Cornwall, and husband Wm Crocker, aged 28, born in Wendron Cornwall, copper miner, were living in Piece, Illogan. With them were sons (born in Illogan) Wm H. (4), Jos: H. (1), and Caroline's mother Lucey Vine (67) of Camborne, widow.

In 1861 Caroline Crocker, aged 40, born in Illogan Cornwall, and husband William Crocker, aged 38, born in Wendron Cornwall, copper miner, were living in Treskillard, Illogan. With them were children (born in Illogan) Joseph Henry (11), copper miner, Caroline (8), scholar, William Henry (6), scholar, John Henry (1), and Caroline's mother Lucey Vine (78) of Camborne, widow.

In 1871 Caroline Crocker, aged 50, born in Illogan, and husband William Crocker, aged 49, born in Wendron, tin miner, were living in Camborne. With them were children (born in Illogan) William (15), sawyer, John (11), mine labourer (at) surface, and Eliza Jane (5) of Camborne.

In 1881 Caroline Crocker, aged 48 [sic], born in Illogan, widow, was living at 3 Troon Moor, Camborne. Present were children John H. (21) of Illogan, shoemaker, and Eliza J. (15) of Camborne, mine labr.

In 1891 Caroline Crocker, aged 60, born in Illogan, widow, was living in Troon Moor, Camborne. With her were daughters (single) Caroline J (34) of Wendron, general domestic servant, and Eliza Jane (25) of Camborne, tin streamer.

In 1901 Elizabeth [sic] Crocker, aged 75, born in Wendron, widow, was with her daughter Eliza J Williams and her husband Fred Williams in Croft Common, Camborne.

TROON.

Mrs. Caroline Crocker died on Wednesday, the 17th inst., at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Williams*, after a long illness. The interment took place at the Troon Cemetery on Saturday last. Deceased who had been a cripple for over twenty years, was 70 years of age. She leaves several sons and daughters.

* Caroline's daughter, Eliza Jane, married Frederick Charles Williams in 1894.

The GROE death index records her age as 70. She was at least a decade older when she died.

  Marriage Information:

Caroline married William Crocker in 1845 in the Redurth district, Cornwall. (William Crocker was born about 1825 in Wendron, Cornwall and was buried on 30 Nov 1875 in Treslothan by Camborne, Cornwall.)
