Present were children (born in Camborne): Eliza (17), James (16), miller, Josiah (14), scholar, Charles (11), scholar, Margaret (6), scholar, Caleb (7m), father-in-law Joseph Bowden (73) of Camborne, retired blacksmith

In 1861, James Thomas (59) of Camborne, grocer & tin dresser, and wife Dorothy (54) of Camborne, were living in Church Row, Camborne. Present were children: James (26), miner, Eliza (27), Charles (21), tin miner, Margret M. (16), shop assistant, Caleb (10), scholar, father-in-law Joseph Bawden (83) of Camborne, retired blacksmith

James married Dorothy BAWDEN, daughter of Joseph BAWDEN and Margaret JENKYN, on 5 May 1831 in Camborne, Cornwall. (Dorothy BAWDEN was born in 1807 in Camborne, Cornwall, christened on 11 Jul 1807 in Camborne, Cornwall and died between Apr 1876 and Jun 1876 in Camborne, Cornwall.)
