LOCAL PREACHER FOR OVER 60 YEARS
The death occurred at Tolgarrick-road, Tuckingmill, on Friday, of Mr. Nicholas Trethowan, in his 85th year. Deceased was associated with Tuckingmill Methodist Church, and was appointed a local preacher in 1878, and up to a few years ago he took appointments regularly. For over 50 years he was employed at Messrs. Bickford Smith's Works, retiring a few years ago. He leaves one son, Mr. Hedley Trethowan, a former Rugby forward for Camborne, and one daughter, Mrs. Wallace.
