In 1880, Sarah Skewis (59) of England, widow, keeping house, was living in Apple River, Jo Daviess, Illinois. Present was daughter Emma (20) of Wisconsin.

Sally married James SKEWES, son of James SKEWES and Joanna RULE, on 25 Jan 1844 in Camborne, Cornwall. (James SKEWES was born in 1818 in Killivoase, Camborne, Cornwall, christened on 8 May 1818 in Camborne, Cornwall and died on an unknown date.)
