In 1841 Johnson Terrill, aged about 40, born in the county, copper miner, and wife Elizabeth Terrill, aged about 40, born in the county, were at Croft Michell, Camborne, Cornwall. With them were children Ann (15), mine girl, William (15), copper miner, Elizabeth (14), mine girl, Grace (12), mine girl, Johnson (9), John (4), and Ann (2).
In 1851 Johnson Terrill, aged 51, born in Camborne, copper mine engine man, and wife Elizabeth, aged 51, born in Camborne, were in Trelowarren St., Camborne. With them were children (born in Camborne) Ann (26), copper mine servant, Grace (19), copper mine girl, Johnson (17), copper miner, John (13), farm servant, Anna M. (9), copper mine girl, Joseph (8), scholar.

On Thursday, the 26th ult., at Camborne, Mr. Johnson Terrill, aged 60 years. A few days previous to his death he received the sad intelligence of the murder of his son, aged 22 years, in Lake Superior, (N.A.).
