In 1851 James Paull, aged 34, born in Camborne Cornwall, copper miner, and wife Elizabeth Paull, aged 34, born in St. Erth Cornwall, were living in Wellington St., Camborne. With them were children (born in Camborne): James (11), errand boy, William (2). The family were staying with Elizabeth's parents, William Blewett (61) of Crowan, copper miner, and Jane Blewett (56) of Camborne.

In 1861 James Paull, aged 44, born in Camborne, mine agent, and wife Elizabeth Paull, aged 44, born in Camborne, were living at Trevenson Terrace, Camborne. With them were children (born in Camborne): William (11), scholar, Annie (4), scholar.

In 1881 James Paull, aged 61 [sic], copper miner, and wife Elizabeth Paull, aged 60 [sic], born in Camborne, were living at 25 Trevenson St., Camborne.
