I William Cocke of the p'ish of Gwythian in the Countye of Cornewall Husbandman being aged and in my sicknes but but in my perfitt Remembrance thankes be unto almightye god, doe att this present tyme voyd all former wills legacies & gifts and make this my last will and testament in manner & forme following

Imprimis I doe bequeathe my soule into the hands of Almighty god beseechin[g] for his infinite goodness and mercye for his deare sonne Christ Jesus . . . . . . . my onely Saviour and Redeemer and my bodye to Christian Buriall in hope of a ioyefull . . . . . . .

I doe give to the poore of the p'ish of Gwythian five shillings :

Item I doe give for tithes for gotten five shillings :

Item I doe give unto Marye my Wife and unto H[enrye] Cock my Sonn whome I doe make my whole executors all my goods movea[ble] and unmoveable, and doe desire them to live in love as formerly they . . . . . . . they molest not or defraud one another.

Item I doe give unto my Daughter Jane six pounds which I promised her att her betrothing

Item I give unto my Daughter Cheston & the Rest of my Children hereafter name[d] . . . . my sonn Bennett theise p'cells of land of Cocks Tenement to be sett to there yerely P'fitt And to Inioye it during the time & terme of Eaighte yeares :

Imprimis I doe give and bequeath the first yeares P'fitt of p'ke annines? p'ke gwarra kineanvethen pke Noweth and the Rent at Cocks houses except the house that Maud Cocke lived in : I give and bequeath the first yeares P'fitt to my daughter Cheston.
