Evelyn V. Sandidge

Salem, Ore.

Evelyn Vivian Sandidge died Monday, Aug. 16, 2004, in a care center in Salem. She was 94.

Mrs. Sandidge was born June 12, 1910, in Wisconsin.

She graduated from Columbia Hospital Nursing School in Milwaukee, Wis., and was a registered nurse. She worked at the veterans hospital in Vancouver.

Mrs. Sandidge had traveled to many areas of the world and liked to study genealogy.

Survivors include one daughter, Carol A. Texley of Harrisburg, Ore.; one stepdaughter, Margaret Parisean of Eagle Rock, Ore.; one son, James of Vancouver; two stepsons, Harrison of Portland and Paul of Courtenay, B.C.; one sister, Dorothy M. Breckon of Madison, Wis.; six grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and eight great-grandchildren.
