The Will of William Treworles of the Parish of Breage in the County of Cornwall, written 1 May 1617, proved 23 Apr 1625. 2

  In the name of God Amen. The first day of May Anno Dni 1617 I Willm. Treworles of the p'ish of Breage sicke of body but perfect of memory (prayse be to my God) doe make & ordaine this my last Will & Testament in manner & forme following, vzt. 
  Imprimis I commend my soule unto Almighty God my Maker & Redeemer, and my body to the earth.
  It. I give to the poore mans boxe of the p'ish of Breage xijd. 
  It. I give & bequeath to John my sonne one platter dish, and the . . . . . . . of all my tynbounds.
  It. I doe give and bequeath to Thomas Treworles my godsonne one ewe lambe. 
  Itm. all other my goods & Chattells I doe give & bequeath to Margarett my wief, whome I doe make my whole executrix to see this my Will performed & my buriall solempnized. In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my signe.

  xvth die Maii Ao Dni 1617. Th'above named William Treworles did adde to his will abovewritten as followeth, vizt. He did give & bequeath to Henry Treworles one Dole in one part? of his tynbounds in Spernon Downe
  It. He did give & bequeath to Thomas Treworles James Treworles Willm. Treworles (sonnes of John Treworles his sonne) and to Thomas Carbus his son in Law, after the death of Margarett his wief the moytie or halfendeale of all his tynbounds, the presaid Dole excepted out of the same halfendeale.
  It. He did give & bequeath to John Treworles his sonne one tablebord standing in the hall & the fourme & one boord behind the same.
