In 1871 John Booth, aged 35, born in Worthen Salop, mineral dresser on lead mine, and wife Nanny N. Booth, aged 32, born in Crowan Cornwall, were living in Hemford, Shelve, Shropshire. With them were children (born in Shelve) Seymour (6), scholar, and Frances Emma (1).
In 1881 John Booth, aged 44, born in Worthen, Salop, lead dresser, and [2nd] wife Sarah Booth, aged 34, born in Worthen, were living in Wemford, Shelve, Salop. With them were children (born in Shelve) Seymour* (14), lead miner, Eliza Phillippa* (9), scholar, Arthur Newton (7), scholar, Susanna (5), scholar, and Sarah Ellen (6 mo).
