Former Burslem Minister
We deeply regret to record the death, which took place yesterday, of the Rev. A. Ivey, of 43, The Crescent, Congleton.
Mr. Ivey went to Burslem in 1918 and for three years was Superintendent of the Burslem Bethel Methodist Circuit. In 1922 he became supernumerary at the Congleton Queen-street Methodist Church, but retired a few years ago owing to failing health.
His wife passed away in January last year. Mr. Ivey is survived by one daughter, to whom the deep sympathy of many North Staffordshire and Congleton friends is extended.
