In 1737 Sampson was a beneficiary of the will of his paternal grandfather Peter Curnow of Towednack, who left £10 to the children of his son John Curnow.
In June 1782 Samson Curnow was present at the marriage of his daughter Mary Curnow to Thomas Rosewall in St. Ives, Cornwall.

Gives to his wife Mary Curnow an annuity of £16 with house and furniture, for the term of her natural life.
Gives 10 shillings sixpence to his son-in-law Thos. Rosewall of the borough of St. Ives.
Gives 10 shillings sixpence to his son-in-law Christopher Rowse of the parish of Ludgvan.
Gives to his daughters Mary Rosewall and Jane Rowse all his freehold and leasehold estates in the parish of Towednack.
All the rest of his goods and chattels he gives to his two daughters Mary Rosewall and Jane Rowse, appointing the co-executrices of his last will and testament.
