In 1901, Joseph Cosentine (67) of St. Austell, was widowed, working as a carpenter, and living on Menacuddle St. in St. Austell. Daughter Mary Vivian and her family were living nearby.

Joseph married Ann JULYAN, daughter of William JULYAN of Levrean and Mary COOMBE, on 28 Apr 1859 in Treverbyn, Cornwall. (Ann JULYAN was born in 1835 in St. Austell, Cornwall, christened on 15 Jun 1835 in St. Austell, Cornwall and died in 1898 in St. Austell, Cornwall.)
